WHY GROUP AT ALL
Some things only ease in community
Individual therapy is one room with one other person in it. Group is where you find out you were never the only one—a different kind of relief, hard to get elsewhere.

If you’ve been the only trans person, the only fat person, the only visibly autistic person in most rooms, being one of several is not a small thing.

Less explaining, more being
A lot of energy goes into translating yourself for people who don’t share your context. Group takes some of that tax off the table before anyone says a word.

What’s taking shape

Trans and nonbinary adults
A room where gender is context rather than the topic to be explained, held by a therapist who is also trans and nonbinary.
Neurodivergent adults
Stimming welcome, no points deducted for going quiet or losing the thread mid-sentence.
Body Trust® and body liberation
Weight-inclusive and anti-diet by design, for rebuilding a relationship with a body that has been public property for too long.
Living with complex trauma
Nervous-system paced, no requirement to tell the whole story, and no competing over whose was worse.
Religious trauma
Healing from harm done in the name of faith—whether you left, stayed, or are still deciding.
Grief that doesn’t fit
Losses the world doesn’t hold funerals for — estrangement, chosen-family rupture, the person you were before.______________________
